Frequently Asked Questions
Regular vacuuming and prompt attention to spills help keep your rug looking its best. Care requirements vary by material, so always follow the care label on the back of your rug and the Care advice on this product page. Explore our Care guide for more advice.
Consider how easily the rug can be cleaned, how much use it will get and how it feels underfoot. If you have pets, their claws may catch in a looped surface. Our Materials and Care guides can help you compare options. For help choosing a rug for your home, get in touch through our Contact page.
Our EVA and EVAPOLYTEX® backings help rugs stay in place and hold their shape, so an additional rug pad is generally unnecessary for rugs with these backings. EVAPOLYTEX® also includes a felt layer for added softness. You can find the backing details on this product page.
Our EVA and EVAPOLYTEX® backings are designed to work with underfloor heating, allowing warmth to pass through into the room. Always follow the temperature guidance for your rug and flooring. For help checking a particular combination, get in touch through our Contact page.
